Get Is Arsenic In Organic Rice US. I happen to use organic brown rice syrup (obrs) and couldn't believe what i was reading. But it won't likely have lower levels of arsenic unless the soil it grew in was never exposed to arsenic — not even 50 years ago.
So organic rice will have fewer toxins overall.
Arsenic is present naturally in nature, including air, soil and water. Popular rice products including white rice, brown rice, organic rice baby cereal, and rice breakfast cereals, were all found to contain arsenic, a potent many of the white rice products tested had fairly low levels of arsenic, and in the context of a few servings a week for an adult, it's probably not an issue. Generally the arsenic passes swiftly through the body and is considered harmless organic arsenic. Even organic rice has arsenic in it (and sometimes more than the conventional brands!).
